Nurture of Talent in corporate

“The management is keen to keep you in our organization “– a sentence from typical HR Manager and Marketing Head.


You must be thinking what is that? Hummm…… But, today I am going to give you my thoughts on HR and Valuing the Talent in corporate world. I might have little knowledge on the above issue but what I am going to write is from my own observation and experience. It might defer from readers point of view.


One of my friends has just resigned from one company and the drama has just begun. It is but obvious after any employees’ resignation, management try to retain the employee. But generally management does not get success in that. We have to just think why this?

Generally HR is not very clearly focused and has not co ordination with marketing department. Any employees’ performance is observed by his superior marketing guy. And it is natural. But my thinking is that HR is not in touch with that superior marketing staff. This is very crucial. There should be some 3 month review with Marketing superior and HR Manager. This will give better idea of employee’s performance and importantly this feedback will help management to retain any employee. First if the employee is very good in performance he should be given preference to get monetary growth as well as managerial growth. This may do by any test or evaluation method. Once any employee is avoided in this above two reasons he will try to find out another way.

If management is successful in this, it will never face of any so many resignations. Another important aspect is that Management must focus on young talent. Because they are very hard worker and physically fit as compared by middle age employee. They can give much better result too. So management has identified such talent and design some reward for them. This should again match with middle age employee performance as they are senior to them and do not create dissatisfaction.

Second is management must find reason why they leave the organization? Is it money, designation or personal reason? As per my thinking I define Growth in terms of three things – that is by Monetary, by designation or by profile. Employees will leave any current employer by keeping this 3 main reason.

So by keeping these 3 main reasons in focus, management has to come out of performance system. After identifying the talent HR and superior have to decide which talent deserves growth in terms of money, designation and profile. These will also cover the employees’ basic skill and characteristic. No one will find dissatisfaction. And management is also able to satisfy their employee by offering money, designation and profile as per employees’ skill.

GIR SAFARI –ONE MUST ENJOY

Hello every one! Hope you are fine. Just get relaxed after year and its target achievement. Must be enjoining the heat.
Anyway, once again I come with one of personal experience. I must confess that in marketing job, sometimes we found fantastic places to enjoy. Some of these are Dwarka- A Beautiful Place at Western side of Gujarat in Jamnagar District. Place where Lord Krishna has ruled. Somnath (Prabhas Patan) – 1st Jyotirling among 12 Jyotirling in India, Situated at Junagadh District. Gir – Lion Sanctuary for Asiatic Lion. Bhavnath- Historical Place, located in Junagadh.

These are some the famous places of Saurashtra. One must Visit these Place once in his Life. I have visited the some the places. I found it great. Superb!!! Especially - Gir Forest, Dwarka and Somnath temple. Let’s talk about above places in detail.

I will start it with Somnath Temple. 1st Jyotirling among 12. It is situated in Junagadh District. It is temple of lard Shiva (The God of Destroyer). It theist people must visit the temple once in life. Second Place in Junagadh District is Gir Forest. This forest is famous for its Asiatic Lion. Yesterday I was on my regular tour and I experienced the trill of Real Lion. While traveling towards Talala, my bus faces the technical problem. And I have to travel by Open Auto. I was just amazed by greenery around the forest in summer. I would advise to all my blog reader to visit Gir Forest Once. You can Have Gir Safari at Devaliya Village. This facility is from Government of Gujarat.

Next is Dwarka. Second Last Place of India in West. This is the place where Lord Krishna has ruled for years. It was Also Known as “Mayavi Nagri”. I feel very relax when I visit Dwarka. It is really nice.

Those who like the beach for them One fine place is there. That is Madhavpur. It is between Junagadh and Porbandar.

Here, I have just share this information. Rest all required information is available on every website. But website can not give the feeling and true idea of the place.

Learn to change our image.


Recently due to the lot work, I could not write or express my thought to you. And let me make it very clear that your writing says lot of things about and your personality. Though I am beginner in writing. I strongly believe that we should have our own image and personality. In our day-to-day life, usually we use both the words but I think we do not understand the proper meaning of both the words. We should be very careful when we are using such word to define individual.

You all might be thinking that why I am discussing this? And it is very common when we used these words to describe personality. Importantly I personally experienced. Recently one of my trusted friends told me that your image and personality is completely different. When I listened that I am surprised! After lot of thinking about past, my routine and me I understand something. That’s why I thought lets share these with you, after all you guys are motivating me to write and express my thought in terms of blogs.

Lets start with definitions of both words.



Personality: The pattern of collective character, behavioral, temperamental, emotional, and mental traits of a person subjective of person’s interaction with others.

Image of somebody or something is to produce a physical or mental image of somebody or something.

I urge you all please read both the definition carefully and try to understand it. Now lets take my own case. My friend told me “your image and personality is completely different”. If you have read the definition you will surely agree to say yes it is. When we use image word it is like perception, how you perceive the external things and interpret it by your understanding. While personality is actual trait of person obsessed by him since his birth. An image has to do with short time while personality has to with long time.

If you interact with person for sometime or longtime then you will be able judge the person. Unless and until you interact with person it is image. That’s why image can be change if you interact with others. Interaction is the most essential tool to change your image. Image can change but personality not. Because most of the time image is used as negative terms. To change the image you need to meet persons. One should not accept his negative image by just perception.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Best singing program on Television

Ah … after long time …mmm probably after 4 months. I am once again here to share my thought with you.

There are few things in which you feel very relaxed and found great peace when you do such things. For me it’s music. I like music and it’s my passion.

After continuous hectic work, we tend to have some change. For me I have a best available option is Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Since Last 10 years I am big fan of it. It has given some good playback singer as well as Music composer. There is no doubt about it.

In last ten years, there is lot of change in television history. Today reality show concept is very popular. In music category we have Indian Idol, Star Voice of India and of course Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Since Last 2 Month the TRP of Three Channel is continuously increasing. Sony with its Indian Idol based on American Idol, Star Voice of India - a combination of Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. The contribution of such program to increase TRP is considerable.

If we go deep in three program, by concept, Contender, quality of content and popularity, I think No such program is designed in India which Beats Sa Re Ga Ma Pa! It is simply amazing, the way it sustained in last 10 years. This time the quality of contender is real raw talent.

In Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, the Final Contenders are Raja Hasan, Poonam, Sumedha, Onik, Mussarat, Amanat, Junaid, Mauli Dave and Harpreet. Sorry if anyone is missed out but these few singers have created their own image in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Especially Raja Hasan, Poonam, Amanat, Onik and Harpreet. This Five Contestant has their unique identity in singing.

I am much impressed by Raja Hasan. A young singer from Bikaner, Rajasthan with his folk singing art, has made completely different image among other contestant. In singing one always love the Pure and divine voice and this quality are inherently comes, not by practice. I must say Raja Hasan Has such quality. Even if you observed the song Selection, Starting and finishing of Song by Raja is completely different. Second most talented singer is Harpreet from Chandigadh, Punjab. Yet to come out best performance from him but he is also superb singer. Singing from Stomach and stretch your voice in one breath is most difficult in singing. If we compare Raja and Harpreet, both have different concept in singing. Raja is based on folk singing while Harpreet is unconventional singer.

Third is Amanat from U A E, he is basically Classical singer and having base of gazal and Sufi Yana. He is very eternal singer and having strong classical base. The Fourth Most Strong Contestant is Poonam from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. A very poor girl with no training of singing. But she is singing for herself. When she sings we feel that she is singing with pure heart and unselfish. Most importantly she is very clear in tone and starting of song.

This subject is very subjective so I would not go deep because this my own thinking but I can request you watch this Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2007 Challenge and let your mind be decided who is the best singer.

Today, after the episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, I feel very relaxed and I thought let s share this my feeling with my friends. Believe me even once you started to watch this show you will be fan for it .

Can We Change Income tax Department?



Hello, everyone!!

Hope you are fine. I am also. It is after such a long time I am writing new blog. If I am not wrong that was in January.

Now I once again back with some good topic to express. May be you readers are having more knowledge or grip on the subject but I thought lets express my thought to you readers.

This time, I would like to dedicate this blog to my elder brother who has motivated me to write about this topic.

The subject is budget 2007. Humm how big topic to discuss!!! But we will focus on only personal income tax structure. On this feb, the Fm has announced Rs 10000/- more in savings /investments. That will come to Rs 110000/-. The effect of this directly relates to all of us. Most of time the sufferers are employed class.

Recently I come across the fact of some white choler service provider. Like Doctors, Teachers, government administrators and some small entrepreneur. What exactly the income they show to IT department? Can anyone guess…..? Let me tell you the fact that they are not sowing their true income to IT department but after some manipulation they put figure. We all know we can’t do anything in to that, but I think IT department if they want they can.

IT department is smart enough to find out such profile persons by tracking them. It not big challenge for them but the challenge is at their effort and their attitude. Let us have some deep discussion on that.

Suppose, the population of one cit is 5-7 lacks, out of them can we categories the doubtful profile by their professions or by any other way. Once they are categorized, can we also keep watch on them? At least we can visit their house, their standard of living, their social status? After analyzing such factors can we also make list o more doubtful profile? It is very easy let me make it very clear it s within the power of IT commissioner of any particular city/district. It is only a questioned of the attitude /approach. Just imagine if there are only 200 profiles found doubtful from 5-7 lacks population and out of them IT department just make annual settlement for volunteer declaration of black money.
Imagine the revenue earned by IT department! These 200 profiles on an average have a earning at least 12 lacks per annum, you know what they showing only 2-3.5 lacks are earning per annum. Rests are all black money! These 6-7 lacks black money can also help IT department to increase their revenue. Most importantly there will some sort of fear take place in their mind to do such manipulation.

I know these is very common idea but till are lacking and we will but if employed class take it seriously, then we can make some correction.

The Old Man

As the old man just arrived right near to me, it draws my attention on him. He was very old man with long hair all are white and combed straight back. He was with his old cycle. Wrinkle on his faces gives me the idea of his age. His clothes were stitched from so many places and not properly. It was just like a man made. Different sleeper appeared on his both foot. He was limped while he walks.

As the old man come to me I just asked how much cost this book? He replied me with very enthusiasm, 50 Rs. for two books. Which one would you like to have it? He asked me with very deep interest! I said let me have a look. I figured one book, which I liked to have it, so I decided to buy one book. It was book from Aliaster MacLean. The person who wrote the books like Guns of neveron, Where eagles dare etc.

It was Saturday evening at 4 PM . I was as regular looking for my Bus for Bhavnagar. Every Saturday I go to Bhavnagar for weekends. The old man who owned one old cycle, found always there. He sold old books, magazines etc. and as regularly, he just stands right in front of the bus that may give us the idea about his intention to request driver to wait for few minute. Always he was having good old books collection and it is limited too. As it was regular for him and me on every Saturday to be there, I just got some sort of interest in his books collection.

I went near to old age man and asked “kaka shu che kimant?” (Uncle what is the price) by pointing the two books of aleaster MacLean. He replied me Rs. 50. Out these two books, I found interest in one book. I decide to buy one book at Rs. 30. The old age man asked me once does not want other books? I said no. he went on to other persons. After a few minute, he came back to me. With holding one book in his hand, the book for which I have not gone. He shouted to me but not rudely! He came near to me and offered me the same book for which I refused earlier. Take this book my son... I just thought it might cost you high but you fond of reading … take it from me as a gift. I was just shocked. Not a single word comes out for while. I was just amazed by his very kind gesture. To be an honest it was my out of expectation! He said to me that I offered you because I just thought it may cost you high but I found your interest in the book that is why I am giving you as a gift.

It has just shaken my mind and heart. What kind of respect he was having for reading. Secondly, he was not my relative but to make me happy he was ready to give me book as a gift even though Rs. 30 is important for him to earn on same day. Nevertheless, his feeling has just shaken up my confidences that are we persons with value.

This incident has upset me for while but it has taught me the great lesson of value.

It has also questioned to us that are we still give more important to money?!

Marriage Bureau: a new emerging marketing tool!

It was Sunday morning, Bhavnagar. One of my closest friends was bit confused & tense. He was wearing new and decent cloths. His hair was well combed. Cool Fragrance of perfume coming out from his cloths. I was very silent, observing his entire behavior and each action. Before I speak, his mother came in to room. And directly she asked my friend are you ready? It’s now time to go. I was not getting anything but from this gesture of my friend and his mother I came to a decision that it was a matter of marriage.

My friend immediately asked his mother, you carry on mama; I will be coming with my fiend in five minutes. My friend just turned around to me and took deep breath. He said that he is going to see a girl for a marriage through a marriage bureau. He gave me the all detail regarding this and we went for the place where we all supposed to be.

Here, it was the place. It was the office cum residence of marriage bureau owner. Mukesh bhai, owner of this marriage bureau, came to us, introduce himself to me and my friend and spoke about the girl and her family background. At the same time girl and her family has just arrived. We all went in to the house and have our seat. Mukeshbhai introduced both the family. It was regular talking went on. My friend was getting impatient about the main purpose. We all can see on his face. After few introductory talks, mukeshbhai introduced girl to my friend. As regular process of this situation, both families agreed to give some time to girl and my friend for personal talk.

Both were given one separate room, next to our room. Meanwhile I, both the family and mukeshbhai were sitting in one room. My friends’ mom just introduced me as his sons’ best friends. Before anyone speak anything mukeshbhai have started with lot of questions. Which cast u represent? How old are u? Are u married or not? I was amazed with this lot of questions. I understand that he is looking for the new business opportunity in me!! Then once again he was dominating me in speaking and asking questions. He gave me the history of his Marriage bureau, success rate and all. All other were just busy in their talks.

After collecting all required information from me, Mukeshbhai came to me with one bulky file. He opened it and showed to me. It was full of bio-data of girl from my cast!! One by one he was just giving me the choice do you like this, she is MBA with good family background, same like you. This really suits you. From my confusing face he just stopped all and said to me, you don’t worry we have lot bio-data. We in this profession since 10 years, we made more than 200 success marriage. We will defiantly help you. It was like kirana store!! This is nothing, we have also choice of divorcee, break up, widow etc. we have all kind of variety. I was really become silent. There were so many thoughts and coming out in my mind. Like he said we have lot variety! We have done for divorcee, break up and all. I could not get this situation. Somehow I was able to mange to get out from him. And silently be seated next to my friends’ father. Both family were talking about their business and sharing information to each other. During this, a topic of branded apparel comes out. Immediately mukeshbhai came in the center and addressed us. If anyone from want branded clothes, we have also one store in main market. You all can visit and can purchase from them. He gave us all the available products at his store and brands. Meanwhile my friend and girl came out from room.

Both families were trying to find by the gesture of my friend and girl. That how it was! And of course I was just thinking about mukeshbhai and his aggressive marketing style for his marriage bureau and his branded apparel store!!
